Thank you for your comments BFH.
If you want to send a strong message that cant be ignored to our congressmen and women, there are two very effective ways. One as you stated at the primaries, the other is to vote for and support the fair tax ( http://fairtax.org ) which will send the scariest message of all to congress. Vote for abolishing the income tax and getting your entire paycheck first. Then paying your fair share of taxes based on what you purchase. Income tax and social security both were supposed to be temporary programs. Then Americans just kinda got used to it. It is time for "change" to go back to they way it worked, before income tax and social security tax.

BFH Thank you so much for that very helpful and informative information. There is no real defense over the fact that it is stated in the United States Code that the social security number has one purpose and states exactly who is and isnt allowed to obtain your social security number.

Second issue after illegally obtaining your SSN, is the obtaining credit information (even if using a different means) and that is the constitutionality of using your credit history as a means to qualify you for the sale of a product. If a product or service is offered for sale, what relevance does your credit have to do with that purchase of goods or services?

This I believe to be a strong case on both counts.

If an insurance company is THAT concerned about getting their premiums paid, then they should offer it on a month to month basis to alleviate this apprehension, instead of offering a year or 6 months worth on a "payment schedule" that they are worried about.

One would think that using the persons drivers license for car insurance would be more congruous with car insurance to begin with.

I also believe because of CNN's far left bias, that Fox News would be a far better service to the cause. Especially since they carry Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck.

For all those who have posted a comment, One book everyone should read is a book by Congressman Ron Paul titled "End The Fed" in his book he outlines the real reasons as to why the Fed should be shut down and to never operate again.

the vast majority of people really don't understand how, is or why it's printed and what happens when the Feds barrow too much, or print too much paper money. He also explains why we need to adhere to the Gold Standard's that were set-up of which our American Dollars are backed.

Most people get there paycheck at the end of the week and assume the money is good and in most cases is, but fail to understand the inner working of the worthiness of the almighty Dollar.

With respect to the Omnibus Bill, Tarp I, II, II, and thoughts of Tarp IV, Climate change, Cap & Trade I mean "TAX" all of these Bills except the Omnibus Bill are nothing more than a way fro Congress to raise Taxes on the American People though they need to make you feel as though your getting something for your almighty dollar in exchange but all were getting is !@#$%^ in the ass by those we voted into office.

It is imperilitive that you pay close attention to what our President does in lieu of what he say's as there 2 entirely different things, if you've been paying close attention when BO speaks you not getting the whole picture. But if you pay attention to what happens over here as opposed to what he might be telling the American People you'll understand exactly whats happening to our Republic.

Not to drive people away form reading here on Scotts site, but I', going to list a really good site to read. The American Thinker is a Web Site authored by believe it or not a Reformed Liberal Democrat who lucky for us became a Conservative like myself and loves his Country !!! though he doesn't write all articles posted on his site but does write alot of them there's a wealth of information for one to read, and a host of links associated with many of the headlines on the site that are very informative as well.

Another good read is "Big Gov't.com" which is the main site that backed the 2 people who broke the Acorn videos and is run by Andrew Briebart you may also know him form Fox News where once in awhile he is a guest on shows like Hannity, O'Reilly, Greta, and FBN with Neil Covuteo.

If you were lucky enough to have had the liberty to actually read several of the stories where the real hard numbers describing our National Debt, GDP, and money paid on interest you'll very quickly realize that all these 1,000 page bills are nothing more than Fluff N Puff and does nothing more than raise Taxes on all Americans even the so called Health Care Bill where you really believe your going to be insured only to have your Taxes raised by a minimum of 40% and could go as high as 60% for the wealthiest of Americans, none the less at the end of the day your taxes are going to go sky high because Congress for the last 3 or 4 decades hasn't learned to live under a balanced budget like you and me and the rest of the population has to do everyday of our lives.

There has yet to be any one session of congress from the current back to the sessions of Congress when Carter was President is when all our troubles began starting with the Credit Re-Investment act of which what is going on today is nothing more than a continuation of that act with Barney Franks at the helm, and our Good good Friend Charlie Rangel at the helm of the Ways & Means who write our tax code of which he himself doesn't like to follow his own tax code that he imposes on all of us.

I've been saying it for a long time now as has many others thru out the internet that the MADNESS MUST STOP NOW. A another very important thing to keep in mind is the 2010 elections next November. The important part of this is to vote each and every incumbent out, but it must be done in the PRIMARIES, not the actual elections. The up coming Primary's is and will be the most important primaries of our lives and the most important of our Nation and it doesn't matter if there Democrat, Republican, Independent they all must be voted out and we have to start fresh with a clean slate for any real change to happen. In case you haven't noticed but there's really no difference between a Democrat or a Republican though when they speak to us they sound different, they sound like there on our side but the only reason they might be on our side now is to gain our confidence for your vote and will resume the same rhetoric, the same lies, the same promises of old and if that allowed to happen again, well you know you get what you paid for and I'm not buying anything they have to sell. Not today, tomorrow, or next week or next year and I can only hope that all of you that visit this site feel the same as I do. I'm not trying to sell you any books but do hope you'll atleast have a look at Ron Pauls book "End The Fed" to get a full understanding of how our currency works and why this Federal REserve needs to be shut down today, and until that happens the Banking Industry will never change, nor will our National Debt.

To respond to those who ask about filing suit against Insurance Co. who use your Credit rating to compute your premiums. First things first, you yourself has to create a paper trail so to speak by keeping records of persons you may have talked to, initial cost of premium's quoted over the phone, and quotes given when your were asked for your SS# and any their important information you might have obtained during your conversation with all persons along the way.

Once you have all the information you feel is necessary to bring a suit against any Insurance Co. The best line of defense would be to go the Class Action Law suit, where by you and hundred, thousands of others would be given the chance to join in the fight and to also find the best of the best "Lawyer" You'll notice I have that in quote's cause we know how "Lawyers" are these days ??

Now I'm not saying it's impossible to sue an Insurance Co. infact your chances are pretty good so long as you have all the needed information to fight the fight as where by your able to persuade such Insurance Co, and put them on notice so that they understand you have the necessary information to persuade any Jury in the court of law in your favor would be inclined to settle out of court and try like hell to have no admittance of wrong doing and believe me they'll try there hardest to achieve there goals if there allowed.

For those who maybe interested in filing such a claim, would be in their best interest to make contact with place like the Cato Institute, or Heritage Foundation, or Constitutional Lawyers like Mark Levin or others of his caliber to represent yourself on a Pro-Bono basis or receive payment only if you were to win the case would have a pretty good chance to change the way Insurance Co. work with regards to using a persons SS #'s , it would even be worth one's time even though the Insurance Co. were allowed to ot admit and wrong doing, JMHO....

Trust, respect, credibility, all of it is earned. Thanks for your comment Ed.

There are two schools of thought that go with this relationship situation. One is, that we as humans should trust blindly first until the trust is broken. Others come from the school of thought that trust is earned.

I find that people juggle both points of view every day. The Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and treat others as you wish to be treated lend them self to the trust all until that trust is broken idea. However, this does not negate the fact that trust is something you want and should earn. It gives you respectability, credibility and it shows good character. It is taking responsibility for who you are and living up to your own standards. By living through your convictions (earning trust and gaining respect), you become trustworthy in the eyes of those who recognize your actions. For those who have just met you, it should be expected that they don't know you and wont trust you until they get to know you. Your actions will prove you. If they are the type that trust you first, before they know you, that is fine for them, but should not change who you are and your endeavor to earn trust regardless of how the other person sees you. It's all only a reflection on you.

Francis, thank you for your comment.
I can not make excuses for my harshness. extreme problems must be met with extreme measures. If a drug addicted parent is expelled from welfare for life because he/she/they failed the drug test, and a child of those parents suffers from it, that is a shame. However, I am not one to go lenient on the parents for the sake of the children. in my opinion the "right" thing to do is separate the children from the parents. Why? For many reasons. Drug addicted parents raise drug addicted children. Not all, no, but the majority, yes. Yes there are exceptions to every rule and unfortunately a small few will get caught in the middle. THese drug addicted criminals are the ones we are trying to weed out, and they should not be raising children and the children deserve much better parents and thus should be separated to give the "children" the best possible opportunity to be the best they can be. Yes it's harsh. It can be called tough love, but as history has proven over and over again, making excuses and going soft on the criminals for the children's sake doesn't produce less criminals, and it surely doesn't help the children.

Welfare can be a good program if managed properly and it is a godsend to many who are actually in need of a stepping stone or a boost or help getting back on their feet. Welfare in my opinion should be temporary and have limits depicting it as temporary. However, many people have figured out how to make welfare a way of life, a standard of living and an excuse for not trying harder.

Vadim, thank you for the link.

Kathy, Flirt Tips is used by the "My1PureLove" portal as well as many other companies such as Discovery channel's Discovery Mobile Alert, Ezinearticles.com, Imedix.com and others. Unfortunately it is the same scam. In most cases the user/subscriber is unaware they are subscribing, however, because of the number of lawsuits filed against mobile messenger service and Mr Tsvetnenko, there are now more disclaimers posted. Please be warned, do not click to see results of anything unless you are absolutely sure you have read the entire page and you know exactly what the result of the click will be.

Kathy, Flirt Tips is used by the “My1PureLove” portal as well as many other companies such as Discovery channel’s Discovery Mobile Alert, Ezinearticles.com, Imedix.com and others.

In response to the reply to Aynjell's comment,
Sometimes your head tells you to trust someone but your gut instinct tells you otherwise. You're not quite sure of which to listen to. If I KNOW someone can't be trusted then I won't test them. But the fact is we've all gotten people wrong before. It's best to try to trust people and get hurt rather than distrust someone and hurt them.

State insurance laws are part of your State legislation, so in my case my Assemblyman is the politician to contact to change insurance laws. My Assemblyman acknowledges that especially in bad economic times and high unemployment using credit scores to rate insurance premiums may have to be "revisited" in the State Assembly. In other words, maybe change it if enough people complain with good arguments.
After 9-11 I didn't work for a full year. That put me in bad shape financially, and created a bad credit score. Others may have been victims of crime and loss of work as a result. Or a health problem, etc.
Also, those with more money can often pay for smaller accident damages out of pocket, rather than file a claim and risk higher rates. Paying a few thousand out of pocket for a fender bender is possible for those with money, while the more poor person has no choice but to file a claim.
Anyone who thinks there is any possible correlation between wealth and morality (insurance fraud) or wealth and driving skill (safe driving) should have their head examined.
Contact CNN and suggest this subject as a "story" they should tell. They could interview the insurance companies, the politicians, the average driver and so on..... I think a little exposure of this story to the general public would force some changes in your State's insurance laws.
